Honey collection
Harvesting is the extraction of honey from the hives for consumption.
The process we follow is to first carefully select the frames that are sealed with ripe, ready-to-use honey.
The frames are then transferred to a closed space and, with the help of uncapping and honey extraction machines, we collect the honey in honey containers.
Finally, the product reaches the consumer after being transferred to maturation containers, pure and natural.
Nomadic beekeeping
An integral part of our work is “flower hunting,” or nomadic beekeeping!
Transporting our hives to almost every part of Greece (Chalkidiki, Thasos, Kilkis, Pella, Kastoria, Kalamata) and seeking the best possible conditions, we collect the various types of honey we offer.
Participation in Exhibitions
Melissotis, in its effort to familiarize consumers with its products and their exceptional quality, participates in various exhibitions held in Greece and abroad.
